超过 30 位设计师结合 AdventureX 全新标识与视觉元素创作极具个人风格的海报,引发无数灵感迸发与碰撞,并受到设计师的欢迎和一致好评。

On the evening of June 15th, the AdventureX design team shared updates to their visual system and the story behind this year's event design with the public for the first time. The team members come from diverse backgrounds, spanning multiple time zones across the globe, collaborating in this context to produce this year's design.

"Design is not about overturning existing standards to create new ones, but rather an evolution rooted in the past," explained Barry, a team member deeply involved in this year's visual updates. "We redesigned the website, style fonts, and tweet typography guidelines by referencing visual elements from the AdventureX 2024 event."

The main visual inspiration for AdventureX 2025 came from the disintegration of the SpaceX rocket during its test flight in February, where the spectacular sight of debris streaked across the sky. "Failure has always been a catalyst for progress. These debris pierce through the silence with extreme dynamism, symbolizing attempts of technological iteration, which we believe is akin to every iteration and innovation within the hackathon," Barry shared.

The new AdventureX logo, crafted by UDL, draws inspiration from the pulsar map on NASA's Voyager Golden Record. By positioning the location and frequency of 14 pulsars, it constructs a cosmic coordinate system, marking "who we are and where we are" in cosmic language for the first time in human history. It's an attempt at interstellar and intercivilizational communication full of exploratory spirit and awe of the unknown. In AdventureX, it symbolizes a collective embarkation: connection, exploration, creation—emitting signals towards the unknown from this moment.

AdventureX founder Ryan shared the story behind the user interface design of AdventureX's application system, United Portal, including the basic components, effects, and the collaboration process between design and development. "The system is currently semi-open source on GitHub, and more internal components will be open-sourced in the future. We hope more hackathons can use this system in the future."

"Cultural creation is not equal to displaying personal taste, but the combination of culture, creativity, and business, requiring consideration of market positioning, target audience, competition analysis, and return on investment," said Raisa, a team member responsible for coordinating the design and production of this year's peripheral materials. The character of the little fiery person designed by her will appear on this year's AdventureX stickers, tags, and other peripherals. Additionally, she revealed a new process will be used for this year's peripherals, stay tuned.

In the theme "From Design to 'Design'", Ryan shared how the AdventureX team creates the AdventureX brand tone in content, application processes, and event arrangements, and conveys it to every creator. For example, through tweet headline design, changing the subject, using revolutionary words, it sparks curiosity and strength in the reader, shaping the reading experience; introducing festival elements in the hackathon event, turning presentations into exhibitions, allowing team members to interact with more people, and enhancing pride and cultural ambiance.

Wilson hosted a discussion among the AdventureX design team on Apple's new design language, Liquid Glass. Looking forward, UI design might evolve as Apple enters new dimensional spaces.

As Carl Jung said, "The creative mind plays with the objects it loves."Creativity extends beyond methodology. It stems from love." We invited over 30 designers to gather on Figma for the Playground event. By combining the new AdventureX logo and visual elements, they created posters with distinct personal styles, sparking countless inspirations and collisions among designers, which were welcomed and highly praised.
