As the first hackathon for young people in China, AdventureX is truly rooted in Chinese soil and continuously spreads the influence of maker culture. In its first year, AdventureX attracted support from more than a hundred sponsors and partners, including ZhenFund, Linear Venture, Silicon Valley Mobile, and Li Auto, and received over a thousand applications. Ultimately, two hundred applicants stood out and, over five days in Hangzhou, completed the creation and development of more than fifty products from scratch.
The fire still burns, like a faint spark, temporarily hindered by the elements, yet destined to spread, lighting the path forward.
We have been invited as part of the AdventureX 2025 design team to design the main visuals, website, and related derivative materials, as well as to collaborate with UDL to restructure the AdventureX brand visual system.


字体
延续自 2024 年的 Dune 风格字体,我们为 AdventureX 设计了全新品牌字体 Orbix,其命名取自拉丁语 orbis,意为“圆环、轨道、宇宙”。这款极简科幻风格字体,采用更柔和的曲率与几何结构,融合现代与未来的语言,呼应主题「燎原」所承载的科技理想与未知探索精神。 Orbix 已于 AdventureX 2025 活动前正式开源至 GitHub,并登陆 Besign Foundry 铸字坊,为全球青年设计师和开发者提供可自由使用与拓展的文字表达工具。

Main Visual
The visual inspiration for AdventureX 2025 comes from the imagery of meteor debris after a SpaceX rocket splashdown, symbolizing the lingering light of exploration and the continuation of innovation. In the deep, cosmic-like imagery, countless fast-moving spots of light streak across the night sky, representing teenagers from diverse backgrounds and skills—who come together like meteors, briefly colliding, igniting, and creating in limited time, illuminating the way forward for the future.



Wayfinding System
We have designed a wayfinding system for all attendees of AdventureX. By using high-saturation color blocks to indicate accessible spaces and 3D modeling maps to assist in information dissemination, we prioritize functionality while also ensuring visual appeal. The signage features high-contrast typography, auxiliary color point navigation, and icons to enhance spatial semantics. It significantly improves path recognition efficiency and decision-making speed through distance and estimated time prompts.
