Barry Shawn participates in a design challenge initiated by Nothing on Xiaohongshu, envisioning the next generation of Nothing products.

Building on the design language of phone (3), we rethink the back layout, aligning the signal antenna perfectly with the rear grid system. The main camera and ultra-wide angle have been moved to the first row, with the elongated area containing the microphone and flash. The Glyph Matrix is relocated to the upper left corner, striving for visual balance in the upper section.

The control buttons of the Matrix are cleverly positioned at the center of the wireless charging area, while the Glyph Interface also returns to this area, providing creative professionals with more personalized ways to showcase the back panel. The light bar beside the volume buttons accurately indicates user volume levels, even when adjusted from the back.

This is phone (4) {concept}, a further extension of Nothing's design and functionality.
